Tallmadge: Life Around the Circle
Colonials, split levels, ranches, and century homes around the historic Tallmadge Circle.
Living in Tallmadge
Tallmadge, Ohio homes sit in a city of about 18,400 people, just east of Akron and south of Stow. Founded in 1807, Tallmadge is the second-oldest city in Summit County, after Hudson.
Everything here seems to revolve around the circle, and that's literal. The town's founder laid out the Tallmadge Circle in a New England design, and it's still the heart of the city today.

The Tallmadge Circle and Circle Fest
The circle surrounds a park of nearly five acres with some of the oldest buildings in the county, including a church built in 1825 and the Old Town Hall from 1859.
Every summer the city celebrates with Circle Fest: food trucks, live music, a beer and wine garden, and a light parade with decorated floats and glowing vehicles making their way around the circle, finished off with fireworks.
Tallmadge Homes
Tallmadge has colonials, split levels, ranches, and century homes, plus homes with a little more land here and there. Much of the newer building is in small allotments.
Prices are generally similar to Cuyahoga Falls, so if you're comparing the two, it often comes down to the home itself and the location you want. We'll show you what your budget buys in each.
If you're selling, we start with a Home Value Report at your home, compared against homes that actually match yours.
Schools
Tallmadge is served by Tallmadge City Schools. As always, confirm the district for a specific address before you buy.
