Munroe Falls: A Small River Town in the Middle of It All
A small river town between Stow and Cuyahoga Falls: colonials, split levels, and ranches.
Living in Munroe Falls
Munroe Falls, Ohio homes sit in one of Summit County's smallest cities: about 5,000 people on roughly three square miles, with the Cuyahoga River running right through the middle of town. It sits between Stow and Cuyahoga Falls, so it's small without feeling far from anything.
The town grew up around the river. In 1837, Edmund Munroe started a manufacturing company on the water, the village grew around it, and Munroe Falls became a city in 1991.

Munroe Falls Homes
You'll mostly find colonials, split levels, and ranches here. Because the town is small, there are only so many homes for sale at any one time, so being ready matters. If you're buying, we'll set up a search so you're the first to know when one comes on the market. If you're selling, we start with a Home Value Report at your home.
Parks and the River
Brust Park. Right by the river downtown. The dam that created the town's namesake falls was removed in 2006 to help the river, and today a lighted observation deck marks the old dam site, with a small amphitheater built from the dam's own stones.
Munroe Falls Metro Park. Once a family-run swim park, it's now about 500 acres of Summit Metro Parks land, including restored prairie.
Schools
Munroe Falls is served by the Stow-Munroe Falls City School District, which it shares with Stow. As always, confirm the district for any specific address before you buy.
